OUR HISTORY

Sanok Rubber Company S.A. takes control of the Teknikum Group.

2024

Sanok Rubber Company S.A. Takes Control of BSP Bracket System Sp. z o.o.

2023

Sanok RC S.A. has sold its entire equity stake, representing 79.71% of the share capital of QMRP.

2022

Sanok RC establishes and officially registers SMX Rubber Company S.A. de C.V. in Mexico.

2017

Sanok RC S.A. integrates QMRP Co., Ltd., located in Jiaozhou, China.

2016

STOMIL SANOK S.A. changes its name to Sanok Rubber Company S.A. and adopts a new strategic growth direction.

2015

Draftex Automotive GmbH joins the STOMIL SANOK Group and specializes in premium car body seals for the German market.

2014

Acquisition of Rubber & Plastic Systems S.A.S. in France – launch of plastic and rubber car body seals production.

2012

The company’s shares are acquired by Enterprise Investors.

2003

Stomil Sanok is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

1997

The Ministry of Privatisation sells Stomil Sanok shares to funds managed by Enterprise Investors.

1993

The company successfully implements its restructuring program and is transformed into a state-owned company with a single shareholder.

1991

The construction of new plants on the right bank of the San River and the launch of production of V-belts (under The Gates Rubber license) and molded rubber products.

1976

The state takes over the company’s assets and begins its reactivation.

1950

The most important factory equipment was destroyed in a failed evacuation attempt.

1939

The visit of the renowned researcher August Piccard to Sanok and the growing interest in ballooning – the establishment of the "Guma" Balloon Club.

1934

Dr. Oskar Schmidt establishes a rubber products factory, manufacturing bicycle inner tubes, saddle cushions, transport belts, fire hoses, and balloon canvases.
