“Car body seals with an innovative surface structure as an alternative to paint coatings”
Sanok Rubber Company S.A. is implementing a project entitled:
“Car body seals with an innovative surface structure as an alternative to paint coatings” – co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014–2020, Priority Axis I: Support for R&D activity of enterprises, Measure 1.1: R&D projects conducted by enterprises, Sub-measure 1.1.1: Industrial research and development work conducted by enterprises.
Project Objective
The aim of the project is to develop a new type of car body seals, in which the top layer will not be coated with paint, while their physical properties will ensure functionality and durability at a comparable level. The goal will be achieved in two ways: by modifying the seal surface (economy version) and by enriching the rubber compound with special functional additives that will create a sliding layer through migration to the product surface (premium version).
Planned Outcomes
The planned outcome of the project is the market introduction of the developed product.
